1. Choosing a Location: The first step is finding a suitable moon in a system where POS are allowed and where you have the necessary permissions from the controlling entity (e.g., the corporation or alliance that owns the system).
2. Acquiring a Control Tower: Control Towers are available in different sizes (Small, Medium, and Large) and are race-specific, with each offering unique bonuses. Choose one that fits your needs in terms of space, powergrid, and CPU output.
3. Fuel: Control Towers require fuel (such as Strontium Clathrates for reinforcement and various isotopes) to operate. Ensure you have a steady supply to keep your POS online.
4. Deployment: Once you’ve selected a moon, you can deploy the Control Tower. After anchoring and onlining it, you can start attaching other structures and modules.

Managing a POS

1. Fuel Management: Regularly check your POS fuel levels. Running out of fuel can disable your POS’s functions and leave it vulnerable to attack.
